Breaking Free is a support group for students who are victims of interpersonal violence. The group meets once a week in a safe and confidential space. Examples of group topics include boundaries, assertiveness, and healthy relationships. This discussion-based group also integrates various creative experiences including painting, collage making, and more. During the Spring 2026 semester, the group will meet on Mondays from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Camellia Center.
To maintain a safe space, participants are asked to complete the Breaking Free Confidentiality Agreement prior to joining. Once completed, please contact our office to schedule a group screening session.
For more information, ask your therapist or call the Camellia Center at 205-348-5040.
