Breaking Free Support Group

Breaking Free is a support group for students who are victims of interpersonal violence. The group meets once a week in a safe and confidential space. Examples of group topics include boundaries, assertiveness, and healthy relationships. This discussion-based group also integrates various creative experiences, including painting, collage making, and more. During the Fall 2026 semester, the group will meet on Mondays from 3:15-4:45 p.m. in the Camellia Center.

To maintain a safe space, participants are asked to complete the Breaking Free Confidentiality Agreement and the Breaking Free Screener prior to joining.

For more information, ask your therapist or call the Camellia Center at 205-348-5040.
